Barcelona salaries 2025/26: Lamine Yamal and Marcus Rashford on big money but Robert Lewandowski top
Barcelona will have their work cut out as they look to better their efforts from last season. Last term, Barcelona completed a domestic treble and enthralled fans on their way to the Liga title, scoring 102 goals in the process. They added to that by also winning the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. With a young and vibrant squad, Barca also reached the Uefa Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2019. Coach Hansi Flick could rely heavily on teenage sensation Lamine Yamal last term while Robert Lewandowski did not disappoint either. Since they are restricted in the transfer market due to financial constraints, the Catalans have focused their attention on youngsters like Yamal, centre-back Pau Cubarsi and midfielder Pedri. They did not stay completely inactive in the summer though. Barca brought in Marcus Rashford on a season-long loan from Manchester United. Back in May, Yamal was rewarded for his fine form when he signed a contract extension which keeps the 18-year-old superstar with the Blaugrana until the end of the 2030-31 season. It also elevated him towards the top end of a hefty wage bill. Given the tight margins within which Barcelona have to operate financially, every player on the payroll has that much more scrutiny on him. Below is the wage list of Barcelona players for the upcoming season. Data collected through reports and Highest-paid players at Barcelona for 2025-26 1. Robert Lewandowski – €400,000 per week 2. Barcelona superstar out for three weeks; could miss the first three games of La Liga
On Friday, FC Barcelona issued an official statement confirming that Robert Lewandowski had been sidelined with a muscle problem in his left thigh. Although the club did not specify a recovery period, the discomfort was strong enough for him to be ruled out of Sunday's Joan Gamper Trophy match against Como. Lewandowski to be out for three weeks However, now, according to AS, Lewandowski is set to miss the opening matches of Barcelona's La Liga campaign due to the aforementioned discomfort. As per the report, the current expectation is that the 36-year-old centre-forward could be sidelined for as many as three weeks, with a possible return only after the international break in mid-September. Although not considered a serious injury, the issue is one Lewandowski has suffered before, prompting caution from the club, especially with the Polish forward nearing his 37th birthday. (Photo by) As such, the veteran centre-forward has been ruled out for Barcelona's league opener against Mallorca on 16 August, and his participation in the subsequent games against Levante and Rayo Vallecano remains uncertain. Despite his age, Lewandowski is a critical part of this Barcelona team, adding value with his goalscoring ability and experience. As such, his absence in the early stages of the campaign will be felt. Manager Hansi Flick will therefore have to turn to an alternative No. 9 for the opening few matches of the 2025/26 season. Ferran Torres appears the most likely replacement for Lewandowski, though summer signing Marcus Rashford is another option, provided the Englishman is successfully registered in time without any issues.

Marcus Rashford scores first goal for Barcelona in 5-0 rout
Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford has scored his first goal as a Barcelona player, netting in the club's final match of their pre-season tour of Asia. Rashford, who sealed a loan move to the La Liga side towards the end of July after a period on the sidelines at United, scored the club's fifth goal in a 5-0 win over South Korean side Daegu FC. The 27-year-old latched onto the end of an Eric Garcia cross to lash in a low effort from around 12 yards in the 66th minute, completing a rout in which Robert Lewandowski and Gave also registered goals. The winger barely reacted after scoring, receiving some congratulations from his teammates during a muted celebration. Rashford appears to be settling in well at his new club, having previously mentioned that Barcelona felt 'like home' as he was unveiled. He made his debut for the Blaugrana at the end of last month in a friendly against Japanese side Vissel Kobe, playing 33 minutes as his new side won 3-1. He may yet face a wait to make his competitive debut though, with Barcelona not yet having registered him for La Liga action as they face with the same struggles that have prevented them from registering players in the past. Fellow new signing Joan Garcia is also yet to be registered, though Rashford said he is 'not worried' about the situation when speaking to Spanish media. 'I think it's something the club needs to resolve, and I'm confident it will happen. I'm focused on training and being ready for the start of the season,' he added. The win over Daegu marked the final friendly of Barcelona's pre-season, with a fixture against Italian side Como coming in the annual Joan Gamper Trophy match on 10 August before they start their La Liga title defence away to Mallorca on 16 August.
